For the first time in Georgian history! Hans Christian Andersen's legendary fairy tale "The Snow Queen" comes to life on ice as a grand New Year's family show!
This is not just another stage adaptation — it is a fantastical ice performance where figure skating, theater, music, and cutting-edge multimedia come together in one magical spectacle.
At the heart of the show is Andersen's timeless tale—the triumph of love and friendship over cold, fear, and evil. The tale reminds us that even the most powerful dark magic is powerless before the warmth of a human heart.
The action unfolds against the backdrop of music by the famous Armenian composer Edgar Ganjumian — melodies that simultaneously evoke tears and heal.
The skaters' costumes were created by Armenia's leading designer, Karin Dnoyan (Director of Atex Fashion Center). Bright, stylish, and unique — each look characterizes the character and adds artistic depth to the performance.
The audience will embark on an amazing journey: from the warm home of Gerda and Kai to the magnificent city square, to the kingdom of magical flowers, to the robbers' domain, and finally to Lapland, illuminated by the northern lights. Thanks to modern lighting, sound, and multimedia effects, the transition between scenes is instantaneous and creates a feeling of complete immersion.
The Snow Queen, the troll, talking flowers, witches, animals — all characters are reborn on ice on a scale that only such a production can provide. Skating, dancing, and aerial elements come together in a wondrous atmosphere where the impossible becomes reality.
