Department: Financial Department

Work Experience and Basic Requirements:

• Experience working in accounting and/or finance;
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in the banking or microfinance sector;
• Knowledge of ALTA programs (Loan Management System – LMS) and B6 is desirable;
• Knowledge of the Tax Code of Georgia and accounting principles;
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is desirable;
• Good knowledge of MS Office programs (especially Excel);
• Analytical thinking and a high sense of responsibility;
• Ability to manage time effectively.

Education:

• Higher education in finance, accounting, economics or a related field;
• A professional certification program (ACCA or other) would be considered an advantage.

Basic duties:

• Recording and processing of accounting documents;
• Accounting records management;
• Preparation of tax returns;
• Performing banking transactions;
• Reflection in the operations program;
• Participation in the calculation of salaries;
• Performing other accounting and financial tasks assigned by the supervisor.
