Information

On August 7, a grand concert by Kristina Arbakaite will be held at the Batumi Tennis Courts.

Born to the legendary Alla Pugacheva and Lithuanian artist Mikolas Orbakaite, Kristina Orbakaite successfully emerged from her parents' huge shadow and built a recognized career as a pop singer and actress over several decades.

He first wowed audiences at the age of 11 when he landed the lead role in the 1983 film Chuchelo. His heartfelt and emotional performance as a downtrodden schoolboy brought him international acclaim and proved that his dramatic talent was a phenomenon in its own right, long before he topped the music charts.

In the early 1990s, Orbakaite officially entered the music industry and released her debut album, Vernost (Loyalty), in 1993. Her sophisticated dance-pop sound, distinctive vocals, and meticulous choreography quickly won her millions of fans across Eastern Europe, earning her a World Music Award as the best-selling artist.

During her career, she has released more than ten studio albums, won numerous Golden Gramophone awards, and was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation. Along with her musical achievements, Orbakaite has also maintained a successful acting career.

The graduate of the Russian Academy of Theater Arts (GITIS) starred in such acclaimed theater productions as The Miracle Worker, and achieved his greatest commercial success in the late 2000s when he played the lead role in the popular body-swapping comedy trilogy Lyubov-Morkov (Love-Carrot).
