Job description:

The Breakfast Cook is responsible for the smooth running of the morning kitchen operations and ensuring that breakfast standards are met. Actively participates in the timely and quality preparation of breakfast, works closely with the team, and ensures a warm and comfortable environment for guests. Assists in supporting other kitchen processes as needed. The position reports to the Breakfast Chef and contributes significantly to creating a positive guest experience.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Prepares various types of breakfast dishes in accordance with hotel standards and menus, including: hot and cold dishes, pastries and pastries
• Ensures proper serving and distribution of breakfast, as well as the availability of necessary equipment and food
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, strictly adhering to health and safety regulations
•  Controls food temperature and ensures its storage in the right conditions
• Participates in kitchen inventory management – monitors the availability of necessary ingredients and inventory
• To support the lobby bar, prepares light meals or snacks during busy periods
• Maintains hotel safety, fire, health, and food standards

Other duties:

•  Performs additional technical or operational tasks as assigned by the Breakfast Chef
• Participates in trainings and actively adopts modern cooking techniques and brand standards
•  Performs other relevant tasks as assigned by the company or management, as needed.

qualification:

• Experience working as a cook is an advantage.
• Experience in the hotel or restaurant industry
• Experience in participating in breakfast service and knowledge of basic kitchen work processes
• Possession of kitchen equipment and basic culinary techniques
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a busy environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Work rate: Full-time, mostly morning shifts (no more than 40 hours per week)
