Job description:

The F&B Waiter is responsible for the efficient and high standard of breakfast service. Ensures guests are welcomed in a warm and friendly manner. Works closely with the team and adheres to all brand service standards. When necessary, actively supports other hotel departments in the efficient implementation of operations. The position reports to the Operations Supervisor and plays a key role in creating guest satisfaction and a positive experience.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Preparing and stocking food and service items for the breakfast buffet.
• Warmly welcoming/hosting guests and assisting them with any breakfast-related needs.
• Setting and arranging tables in a timely manner to maintain a clean and cozy environment.
• Maintains utensils and equipment in a clean, accessible and working condition. Reports problems to management when necessary.
• Safe and efficient transfer of used dishes and eating utensils to the wash area.
• Responding to guest questions and requests in a timely, professional, and friendly manner.
• Adhering to Hilton's visual standards, including wearing a uniform, cleanliness, and personal hygiene.
• Adherence to hotel security, fire, health and food safety regulations.

Other duties:

• Provides support to F&B or other hotel departments as needed (e.g., bar or lobby assistance)
• Actively participates in team meetings and trainings

qualification:

•  Experience in food service, hospitality, or customer service is preferred, but not required.
• Positive attitude, team-oriented approach and willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of English is required; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.

Skills:

•   Communication, negotiation and relationship skills.
• Detail oriented
• Effectively handle multiple tasks during busy hours without compromising service quality.
• Knowledge and adherence to basic hygiene and food handling standards.

Working Conditions:

Work schedule: Full-time, mostly morning shifts (no more than 40 hours per week)
