On August 4 – Mono Hall Batumi will host a concert by Tarja Turunen, one of the most prominent representatives of symphonic rock music, co-founder and former soloist of the band Nightwish. The invited musician will be accompanied by the Vardel String Quartet.

Tarja Turunen — soprano, composer, and songwriter — is an international leader of symphonic rock and one of Finland's most famous musicians.

Co-founder and frontwoman of Nightwish for nine years; with the band she earned gold and platinum and created a specific genre of symphonic metal, where the soprano voice intersects with heavy music.

Tarja Turunen regularly creates chamber and orchestral programs and frequently visits opera stages around the world. Her work combines Christmas carols with Gothic and cinematic sounds. She has collaborated with Within Temptation, Schiller, Mike Oldfield, Doro, Scorpions.

Tarja Turunen has performed over 1,000 concerts and is the first Finnish solo artist to receive a gold release in Germany (Nightwish also achieved a similar result). Currently, the musician actively tours international stages and continues to expand her repertoire, focusing on the fusion of cinematic genres.
