Devex Announces a vacancy for heavy equipment Mechanic position.

Job description:

The main responsibility of a mechanic is SDLG-He/She Heavy Construction Equipment Technical service, Planned  Services Performance, Diagnostics and Technical Fluency Provision.The position involves performing technical service at a facility or other location.

Employment type: Full-time, working hours: 09:00 – 18:00 (Monday-Friday) 09:00-14:00 (Saturday)

Main Responsibilities:

• Performing scheduled maintenance on SDLG heavy construction equipment;
• Periodic inspection of equipment and assessment of technical condition;
• Performing minor and medium-complexity mechanical and electrical repair work;
• Timely replacement of oils, filters, technical fluids and other consumables;
• Inspection of the hydraulic system, pipes, hoses, connections and assemblies;
• Timely informing the supervisor about identified problems;
• Compliance with the manufacturer's technical regulations and service standards;
• Recording of completed work and production of relevant service documentation;
• Compliance with technical safety rules and internal company procedures;

Competencies and experience:

• Experience working as a mechanic, preferably in the field of heavy construction equipment;
• Knowledge of basic mechanical and hydraulic systems of heavy equipment;
• Ability to work with technical instructions and service documentation;
• High sense of responsibility and technical discipline and adherence to safety standards
• Ability to work independently and solve problems promptly.
• Category B driving license.
