On August 2nd – Tropicos in Batumi – one of the most popular Ukrainian duos – WOO YORK will perform on the electronic music stage.
A pure expression of creative passion, this Ukrainian duo has been a master of their own sound since day one. On stage, they tell a story rooted in techno, where pounding basslines and soaring melodies blend with their signature groove. Always live, always in the moment, Woo York’s performances are unique; they create original works in real time, engaging the listener through drum machines and synthesizers, creating a connection with the audience that is impossible during traditional DJ sets.
A constantly evolving project OTHERVOICE — Woo York is the next level of their live experience. It's an extension of the powerful stage energy that has earned them a spot on Resident Advisor's "Top 40 Live Artists" list (Top 40 LiveActs) were named among them; now they offer listeners unfiltered sound and visuals in complete, authentic sync.
For two decades now, WooYork have been consistently creating unique and inimitable live sets in a music scene that is often shrouded in monotony and predictability. Their performances have been developed underground, in clubs such as Tresor and Berghain, and have been refined in front of demanding audiences around the world, and they are equally comfortable behind the wheel at London's Fabric, as well as on the stages of giant brands such as Afterlife or Drumcode.
