Director Giorgi Kashia, in collaboration with Valeri Otkhozoria, created a stage version of “The Distress of Darispan”. A classic is a classic because it shows us the existing reality from a new angle, with new eyes, in any time or era. Kldiashvili’s Darispan also travels from generation to generation, simultaneously conveying comedy and tragedy, inexhaustible pain and eternal thought.
