Georgian National Academy of Education and Business (GNAEB) is conducting a Teachers' School ConferenceIn Adjara – in the city of Batumi.
Conference topic – “STEM Education — Modern Challenges and Opportunities of Pedagogy in the Digital Age.”

The school conference will be held on December 20th – in Batumi – at the Batumi Technopark.

An image poster about the conference speakers and attendees will be published in advance (of course, with the consent of the participants).

The school conference is being held as part of the teachers' professional development program.

All teachers with status throughout Georgia have the right to participate in the conference.

Conference presenters and attendees will receive bilingual certificates.

The conference is organized by the Georgian National Academy of Education and Business.

Working language of the conference: Georgian.
Representatives/leaders of international and local organizations; renowned trainers, school principals, and invited lecturers and university graduates from universities will be invited to the conference.
Attendees will be issued a bilingual certificate of attendance, and speakers will be issued a bilingual speaker certificate.

The attendance fee for attending teachers/interested individuals is 55 GEL.
(The project includes a break part).

Attendees can register until 00:00 on November 15.

After registration, attendees will be sent payment details to the email address provided.

The conference will take place from 10:00 to 15:00.
Priority issues of the conference:
1. Digital Competencies and the Role of the Educator in the STEM Era
– The new role of the teacher in a technology-saturated learning environment.
2. Subject integration and team learning in a STEM context
– How to create joint projects where several teachers work on the same topic.
3. Computational thinking in all subjects
– Algorithmic and systematic approach as a general educational skill.
4. STEAM Approach – Science and Art in a Shared Learning Space
– Developing creative thinking through integrated projects.
5. STEM and entrepreneurial thinking
– From innovation to startup: How to teach students to put an idea into practice.

Conference stages for speakers:
1) Speakers must present the selected topic and the corresponding report in a Word document, along with the presentation (Power Point), and must provide us with a contact number when sending the documents. Within a few days after registration, the conference topic will be evaluated by a specially invited commission.
After evaluation, the selected participants will be contacted, and the best works will be selected for the competition, whose presentations will be made on June 8.
The deadline for submitting the presentation and Word document is November 15th, 00:00.

Number of slides – 15-20 slides; Word document – at least 4 pages.
Time allotted for one speaker: 10 minutes (2 minutes for questions and answers).

The project partners are: International Academy of Education (IAE) and the Institute of Inclusive Education.
The conference will be gradually broadcast live on the Facebook platform.

An awards ceremony and a photo shoot are planned at the end of the teachers' conference.

All image photos and videos will be uploaded to the organization's page.
