Theater Square and Neptune Fountain

Theater Square is one of the most beautiful and popular places in the city. During the day, you can often see tourist excursions here, and in the evening - young people on vacation.

The main attraction of the square is the Neptune Fountain, designed in the ancient Greek style and surrounded by mermaids immersed in water fountains. It is located at the beginning of Rustaveli Street, where it is impossible to miss the golden and shining Neptune.

Some visitors are skeptical about this Baroque fountain, which is a replica of the world-famous Fountain of Neptune in Bologna. It once housed a statue of the famous Georgian writer Ilia Chavchavadze.
