The play is based on the novel by the Turkish classic writer – “Revenge, or the Georgian Woman”. The play is historical in nature and deals with the abolition of the Kingdom of Kartli-Kakheti, the declaration of Georgia as a Russian province and the exile of the royal families. Helen, the daughter of King George XII, swears to take revenge on the Georgian ruler Pavle Tsitsianov for the betrayal of the royal family and the country…

The performance will be held on the stage of the Batumi Ilia Chavchavadze Professional State Drama Theater.
