American International School Progress announces a vacancy Person responsible for safety position.

Progress is authorized by both the state and the American Council of Schools and Colleges, “College Board”, which allows us to issue state certificates and American diplomas. The school has also obtained the American high school accreditation “Advanced”. The accreditations give the school the right to implement a dual, Georgian-American curriculum and award students with an official American high school diploma in Georgia.

Position Objective: The incumbent is responsible for ensuring a safe environment at school, protecting the well-being of students, overseeing discipline standards, and managing emergency situations in a timely manner.

Main Responsibilities:

• Security management and monitoring:
• Daily monitoring of the school building and surrounding area;
• Supervision of the implementation of safety regulations;
• Managing the video surveillance system and transmitting information to the relevant service in case of technical failure;
• Participation in emergency situations (fire, flood, earthquake, etc.) and support for the safe evacuation of students and employees.
• Discipline management:
• Respond to disciplinary violations in accordance with school rules and protocols;
• Identification of conflict situations and participation in the mediation process;
• Recording facts about disciplinary offenses, maintaining an electronic database of violations, and periodically updating it;
• Maintaining discipline by students, staff, and visitors
  Monitoring.
• Support for educational processes:
• Informing students about civil safety and legal issues (road safety, civil liability, etc.);
• Constant communication with parents/legal representatives of students with behavioral difficulties;
• Collaborate with school management and administration to effectively enforce discipline policies;
• Participate in planning and implementing preventive measures for a healthy lifestyle.

Work schedule: Full: 09:00 – 18:00
