Welcome to InfoBatumi. We respect your privacy and care about the security of your personal data. This policy applies to our website (infobatumi.ge) and mobile application on both iOS and Android.

Our mobile app is built using the Appress platform, which provides a native mobile experience for WordPress sites.

By using the application or website, you consent to the practices set forth in this policy.

2. Data we collect

2.1 Information provided by you

  • Account details: Name, email, phone number that you provide us with during registration.
  • Profile information: Business listings, vacancies, and other content that you publish on our platform.
  • Password: Stored in encrypted form (hash). We never store passwords in plain text.

2.2 Automatically collected data

When you use the app, we collect:

  • Device identifier: A randomly generated UUID used to associate your device with your account.
  • Push notification token: Generated by Apple Push Notification service (APNs) on iOS or Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) on Android and used to deliver notifications.
  • Application version, operating system version, platform (iOS/Android): We send messages to the server when registering.
  • IP address and request timestamps: In the form of standard server logs for security purposes.

2.3 Authorization data

  • Email and password: is transmitted directly to our website using HTTPS encryption. The session is stored using standard cookies.
  • Google Sign-In (if enabled): We only receive your name and email address from Google, with your consent. We never receive your Google password.
  • Apple Sign-In (If enabled, on iOS): We receive an authorization code and your identification token. You can choose a real or Apple relay email.
  • Biometric authentication (Face ID / Touch ID on iOS, Fingerprint / Facial Recognition on Android): Your biometric data never leaves your device. Only an encrypted re-authentication record is stored in your device's secure Keychain (iOS) / Keystore (Android). Biometric verification is performed by the operating system.

2.4 Permissions and sensors

  • messages: Only the push token is stored. The message content is not stored after delivery.
  • Camera: Used only when scanning a QR code. Images are not recorded or sent.
  • Geolocation: Required only when a feature requires it (e.g., searching for nearby properties). The location is not stored on our servers unless you upload it yourself as part of a business listing.

3. How we use your information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

  • Creating and authorizing your account;
  • Publishing business announcements and vacancies;
  • Delivering push notifications (only with your consent);
  • Responding to support and customer requests;
  • Detecting and preventing technical problems and malicious use;
  • Improving services and user experience.

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not use your data for advertising or behavioral profiling.

5. Data retention period

  • Account details: Retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, it will be deleted within 30 days.
  • Push token: Automatically deleted when you delete the app or revoke notification permission.
  • Server logs: Retained for a maximum of 90 days for security and malicious use detection purposes.
  • Content (business announcements, vacancies): Retained until you delete it or delete your account.

6. International data transfer

Our Service may be hosted or accessed from countries outside of Georgia. By using the Application, you consent to the transfer and processing of your data in these jurisdictions, which may differ from the data protection laws of your country of residence. We use appropriate security measures to protect your data regardless of the location of processing.

7. Your rights and choices

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request information about what personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request correction of incorrect or incomplete information.
  • Delete: Request the complete deletion of your account and all associated personal data.
  • Withdrawal of consent: Withdraw your consent to data processing at any time.
  • Disable push notifications: Turn off notifications at any time from your device settings.
  • Cancel biometric authentication: Disable Face ID / Touch ID / Fingerprint by logging out of the app or in your account settings.

Account deletion procedure

To permanently delete your account, please contact us at info@infobatumi.ge from your registered email address. We will process your request within 30 days and confirm the deletion via email.

8. Children's Privacy

Our app is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Data security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the security of your personal information, including:

  • HTTPS encryption For all client-server communications;
  • Encrypted storage For sensitive data (Firebase service accounts, signing secrets);
  • Biometric data Stored only in your device's hardware-supported secure Keychain/Keystore — never on our servers.

No system is 100% safe. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users in accordance with applicable law.
