About the Botanical Garden
Batumi Botanical Garden is one of the most popular and frequently visited places in the city. It is on the top list of all attractions and enchants visitors with its unique collection of plants that have been growing for decades.
Some come here to see the amazing flora, while others simply prefer to take a peaceful walk, relax in nature, and enjoy the fresh air.
Strolling in the botanical garden
The garden is divided into 21 different zones, where unique plants from different parts of the world are presented. It is advisable to visit each of them, as each zone is different and interesting.
Pay special attention to the small pond located in the middle of the garden - there you can see goldfish and small turtles. Near the pond grows a special plant that bends when touched, surprising everyone. At the end of the garden is an old tree, from whose roots seven new trees have already sprouted.
You can spend the whole day here – each zone offers a different environment and atmosphere. If you get tired, you can use an electric car, the cost of which is 10 GEL.
Please noteThere are only two places to buy food and drinks in the garden, so it is better to bring a small supply with you. However, there are many benches, gazebos, and specially arranged picnic areas in the garden. It is also possible to pitch a tent and spend the night here for 50 GEL, and to organize a picnic for 30 GEL.
A little tip: The botanical garden sells unique honey, made from the nectar of thousands of flowers – delicious, healthy, and different!
How to get to the botanical garden?
The garden is located about 15 minutes drive from Batumi. It can be reached by taxi, minibus. No. 31 and No. 40, or by bus No. 10 and No. 10A.
The garden has three different entrances:
Buses run every 20-40 minutes, and the fare is 30 tetri. Payment is only possible with a special card or using a bank card.
It is best to return to Batumi No. 31 minibus taxi Use it because it moves most frequently and has a stop at the central entrance.
Purchase tickets
Tickets can only be purchased at the box offices located at the entrances to the garden. Online sales are not available at this time.
